Mohamed Salah paid tribute to Jurgen Klopp on social media after the manager's exit from Liverpool after Sunday's final game of the season.
The German signed off his career at the helm of the Reds with a 2-0 Premier League win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield, and made an emotional farewell speech.
Egyptian striker Salah, who has spent several years working with Klopp at Liverpool, expressed his hope that their paths would cross again in the future.
The 31-year-old took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a pic of them together on the training ground, and the message: 'It was great sharing all those trophies and experiences with you over the past 7 years.
'I wish you the best of luck for the future and hope we meet again.'

Salah joined Liverpool in June 2017, two years into Klopp's spell as the club's manager - and has become one of the Premier League's greatest ever goalscorers.
Together, they won the Champions League in 2019, the Premier League title in 2020, as well as five other domestic and international trophies across their time together at Anfield, with Klopp arguably able to get the best out of the Egyptian.
Salah scored 32 goals in his first season, breaking the record for the most goals in a 38-game campaign, and has amassed 211 goals in total on Merseyside, as a stunning addition to the Reds' success over recent years.
Liverpool have confirmed Feyenoord boss Arne Slot will succeed Klopp and take over as head coach from the start of next season, on a deal believed to run until 2027.
Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk are among the Liverpool stars with one year left on their current contracts, and it remains to be seen whether any of them will be part of Slot's long-term plans at Anfield.

Klopp's final 24 hours at Liverpool were sentimental and stirring in equal command, including the time spent packing up his office, fighting back tears during the club's iconic anthem You'll Never Walk Alone, starting a chant for his successor Slot, and rapping on stage with Reds' legend John Barnes.
The German is to start his break from football at a luxury five-star hotel in Majorca, while checking in on the progress of the £3.4m 'ecological family paradise' villa he will live in with his wife Ulla.
