This is the moment an Amazon delivery driver is caught on camera 'stealing' a £225 parcel from someone's doorstep.

Resident Rosa Vasa caught the worker nabbing the parcel while making a separate delivery at her home in Sneinton, Nottingham, in May this year.

Doorbell footage shows the man dropping off a separate parcel before making off with another containing the phone which had been delivered by Royal Mail earlier in the morning.

Rosa has been left 'heart-broken' by the incident, with the phone having been a gift from her son Nahum Brodskis, who bought it using money he earned from his job while studying.

She shared the video of the alleged theft to warn others and hopefully prevent it from happening to them.

Rosa told the BBC: 'I think sometimes people need money to support their own problems.

'It's heart-breaking, my son worked hard to get the money for the phone.

'We shared the video, and people have been supportive, the community has been really helpful. I think people will be more alert now.'

Her son Nahum added: 'It's been frustrating. You get in contact and speak to one person, then you have to speak to another.

'But they have been cooperative, and they are investigating it.

'I'd like them to do more background checks when they hire their drivers, it might help stop these sorts of petty crimes.'

An Amazon spokesman told the BBC: 'We have very high standards for the delivery service providers we work with and how they serve customers. We are investigating the incident.'
