Moment have-a-go hero saves woman from savage mugging

The moment a bystander saved a woman's life was caught on camera after he fought off a mugger and his accomplice with his impressive combat skills.

A surveillance camera caught the shocking altercation, where a woman was seen fighting the thief off as he tried to pull her handbag out of her arms.

The unnamed woman, 27, tussled with the first thief, knocking over his accomplice on his motorcycle that was to be the getaway vehicle. 

The camera then cuts to the woman grappling with the second thief on the motorcycle. The first thief was about to tag-team the victim when a quick-thinking passerby leaped into action.

In the heat of the moment, the have-a-go hero delivers a flying kick that sends the would-be thief limping away.

With another kick, the bystander knocks the second mugger to the ground. 

The mugger is then hit repeatedly in the head before attempting to escape.

Though shaken, the hero delivers a final kick to discourage further pursuit.

Police from Belo Horizonte, Brazil report that the 27-year-old woman only suffered minor scrapes during the struggle.

While the identity of the heroic bystander remains unknown, they undoubtedly saved the day.

The mugging duo, however, weren't finished as it was reported that they attempted to mug another woman in a different neighborhood shortly after.

The second victim managed to escape and call for help, forcing the thieves to flee empty-handed once again.

Police are currently searching for the suspects.

They advise the public to prioritize safety and avoid confrontation during muggings.
