Hips Don't Lie hitmaker Shakira is set to perform at the 2024 Copa América final this weekend.

The multi-Grammy Award winner, who split from former soccer star Gerard Pique in 2022, will take the stage during halftime of the match on Sunday.

'Shakira is an extraordinary South American star who has dazzled the entire world,' Alejandro Domínguez, president of CONMEBOL, said in a statement Tuesday.

'Her songs are sung and danced to in every corner of the planet, turning her art into a global phenomenon that crosses borders and is enjoyed by millions of people,' he went on.

'We are sure that her performance at the Copa América USA 2024 will enhance the message of healthy passion and unity through sport.'

The match will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Florida on Sunday night

The Colombian songstress, who has performed at the Super Bowl and three World Cups, will add the Copa América to her resumé when she appears at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.

More than 54,000 people are expected to attend the match, which is scheduled for 8pm ET.

The 47-year-old has provided the soundtrack for several soccer tournaments through the years.

She performed her iconic hit Hips Don't Lie during the 2006 World Cup final in Berlin, before her chart-topping tune Waka Waka [This Time for Africa] became the anthem of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The songstress has performed at the Super Bowl and multiple World Cups over the years

She was in a relationship with former Barcelona star Gerard Pique for over a decade

She also wrote and performed the song La La La for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Additionally, the singer has been linked to soccer through her ex-boyfriend Pique, whom she dated for over a decade.

Following their 2022 split amid allegations the ex Barcelona star cheated on her, Shakira likened him to Harry Potter villain Lord Voldemort.

She also got candid about everything she gave up during the 12 years she was in a relationship to Piqué.

'For a long time I put my career on hold, to be next to Gerard, so he could play football,' Shakira admitted during an interview with The Sunday Times earlier this year.

'There was a lot of sacrifice for love,' she continued.
