New crowd footage has shown the moment The Killers paused their concert at the 02 in London so their fans could watch England beat The Netherlands in the Euro 2024 semi-final.

The American rockers - comprised of Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Ronnie Vannucci Jr. and Mark Stoermer - were in the British capital as part of their 'Rebel Diamonds' tour to celebrate 20 years of hits.

The band delighted the crowd by showing the final minutes of the match on the big screen.

Fans were able to watch the closing stages after Ollie Watkins had given England a 2-1 lead in the 90th minute in Dortmund.

Flowers was seen sitting down watching the conclusion of the Euro 2024 semi-final on the stage.

Drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr was also sported in an England shirt after the big win

As England were declared the winners, The 02 broke out in a chorus of cheers and confetti erupted from the stage.

The Killers then stunned fans by immediately playing their hit 'Mr Brightside' to a delighted crowd.

The band showed their awareness of their audience with the move, with drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr also seen wearing an England shirt following the win.

On social media, following the concert, the band also posted 'Tonight we played for England'.

It was a memorable night for England and The Killers fans as they toasted the Three Lions success.

Late substitute Watkins had buried a stunning strike into the bottom left corner with just seconds remaining to send Gareth Southgate's men into Sunday's final against Spain in Berlin.

The striker had replaced captain Harry Kane, who had earlier equalised for England with a penalty in the first-half - cancelling out Xavi Simons' wonderstrike after just seven minutes.

England's star-studded squad were supported by an army of WAGs and celebrities including Adele and Ed Sheeran as they reached their first ever Euros final on foreign soil.

Hot Fuss propelled the band to superstardom and has sold more than seven million copies worldwide, reaching number seven on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart and topping the charts in the UK.

It spawned four commercially and critically successful singles: Mr. Brightside, Somebody Told Me, All These Things That I've Done and Smile Like You Mean It.

The album and its first three singles went on to garner five Grammy Award nominations.

2003 single Mr Brightside peaked at number 10 in both the United States and the United Kingdom and is The Killers' most successful single.

The song recently reached rare Diamond status, marking 10million sales in the United States.

In 2010 Rolling Stone listed Mr. Brightside as the 48th-best song of the 21st century, and in 2021, it was ranked number 378 in the magazine's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list.

The Killers are considered one of the biggest rock bands of the 21st century, selling more than 28 million records worldwide, including 10.8 million in the US alone.

The band has received seven Grammy nominations, won two Brit Awards and headlined Glastonbury and Madison Square Garden.
