Peacock's new dating show 'Love Undercover' is earning rave reviews from fans, with five footballers hiding their real identities to find an authentic romantic connection.

Featuring Jamie O'Hara, Ryan Babel, Mexican gold medalist Marco Fabian, Charlton defender Lloyd Jones and goalkeeper Sebastian Fassi, the show sees the men head to Los Angeles - with fake personas - to meet a cast of 18 women and hopefully meet their match.

And after premiering on May 9, it's been a hit with fans.

'Well done Peacock! #LoveUndercover is my favorite type of mess,' one fan wrote on X.

Another, who claimed they 'never' watch reality TV normally said, 'we're all caught up now... and now we're on a reality tv binge.'

Jamie O'Hara is one of five footballers who appeared on 'Love Undercover' on Peacock

And the show, which also features ex-Liverpool forward, Ryan Babel, is a hit with fans

A different fan added, 'I'm [not gonna lie] it's kinda fun seeing some of them get humbled.'

While the likes of O'Hara and Babel are well-known commodities in England, the show sees them, Fabian, Jones and Fassi assume fake identities Stateside.

O'Hara tells the women he works in ad sales, Babel says he is a construction worker, Jones says he is a strength and conditioning coach, Fabian claims he runs a restaurant and Fassi said he works in business administration.

Eventually, the men reveal their identities to the women and each choose one to bring to Europe.

The experience varied wildly from contestant to contestant, as Fassi and Jones were easily the biggest hit amongst the ladies, while O'Hara joked in an exclusive interview with Mail Sport that it was a 'disaster.'

Goalkeeper Sebastian Fassi proved to be extremely popular with the women on the show

'I love being known in England , in the UK, and people knowing who you are,' he said.

'Jamie, how are you? Jamie, great to see you. Love seeing your talkSPORT stuff.'

O'Hara, 37, is the lone retired player on the show and was quickly humbled by the physiques of his co-stars.

'I was thinking 'why am I here?' I'm the fat, retired ex-footballer, stood here with Ryan Babel who is absolutely ripped, Sebastian (Fassi) who looks like a god and Lloyd is 6ft 2ins and is from the UK.

'I thought 'it's pointless me even coming' because every decent woman who walks in here won't want me. And they don't even know who the f*** I am!''

The show has released seven episodes thus far, with three more to come.
