New York cops have arrested a second man accused of randomly punching women in the face on the streets of Manhattan.

The second suspect, Mallik Miah, 30, was arrested Thursday and charged with allegedly assaulting 27-year-old Mikayla Toninato in Greenwich Village in a broad daylight attack on Monday.

He has now been freed on supervised release, and has not been linked to any of the other assaults plaguing women in the Big Apple in recent weeks.

It comes after the first man accused of punching a TikTok influencer in the face in broad daylight appeared in a New York City court, after footage of her injuries went viral.

Skiboky Stora, 40, was also arraigned in court on Thursday in connection with the seemingly random attack on Halley Kate Mcgookin.

The two arrests come amid a flurry of apparently random attacks on women near the West Village neighborhood of Manhattan.

TikTok personality Toninato says she got punched in the face when she was walking home from class, in a video that has gained 7.4 million views.

Toninato said she was looking at her phone and texting as a man came out of nowhere and hit her in the face 'completely out of the blue.'

She warned her followers to not walk around on their phones and be 'super aware' of their surroundings.

Her TikTok was shared seemingly in response to McGookin's assault, as she tagged her in the video and said: 'I quite literally feel your pain, this was insane.'

The New York Police Department said Stora was arrested on Wednesday and charged with assault, making it his third arrest in the past six months.

Stora has frequently run as a fringe candidate for mayor and governor, and according to the New York Daily News interrupted prosecutors during proceedings.

The outlet reported that he told Judge Pamela Goldsmith: 'Now they bring me here and say they have video footage of me punching somebody that I never met and have never seen.'

Stora continued: 'That’s denying me due process, and the same officer is a white supremacist member who has arrested me.'

The outlet reported that Assistant DA Liliana Shelanski shared statements Stora allegedly made to police after his arrest.

Shelanski is said to have told cops: 'She’s a ghost, who is my accuser? You are the one who did it, I am looking at your hand.'

Mcgookin shared her traumatic experience with her 1.2 million TikTok followers just moments after being punched in the face.

'You guys, I was literally just walking, and a man came up and punched me in the face,' Kate said in the video with tears streaming down her face.

'Oh my god, it was so bad, I can't even talk.'

The influencer also added that she lost consciousness and fell to the floor after the assault.

Kate posted a follow up video from the safety of her apartment, revealing what she described as a 'devil horn'-looking bump on the left side of her forehead.

'Yeah, I'm going to the hospital, oh my god, it looks like a f**king devil horn,' she said, having just noticed the bump starting to form while filming.

In another video, Kate thanked her followers for their expressions of concern, and confirmed with a doctor that she would be okay but to look for symptoms such as vomiting or vision loss.

'I am going to be okay, I think I'm going to make a speedy recovery,' she said, saying she was experiencing a severe migraine.

The content creator said the man had struck her while she was looking down at her phone to answer an email.

'I literally passed out, so I don't really remember. But I guess he was really mad that my head was down - he was walking a dog, so he took it upon himself to attack me and let me know to be conscious of my surroundings,' Kate said.

After having regained consciousness, Kate said she woke up to the man screaming at her.

As Kate's video gained traction, so did other stories from users claiming they have also been punched in the face by a male stranger, sparking outrage online about public safety in NYC.

Since the shocking video was uploaded, a slew of others have now echoed her claims to say they have previously been victims of random violence in NYC.

Another person shared a video last week, on March 17, telling users that she had been randomly punched in New York City as well.

'I literally just got punched by some man on the sidewalk,' Olivia Brand said in her video - which has almost four million views.

'He goes "sorry" and then punches me in the head,' she said.

Yet another popular TikTok star uploaded a video on Monday, saying that she had also been punched in NYC.

Selena Pikanab, who has over a million followers on the social media app, captioned her video 'Getting punched in NYC was not on my agenda today. This happened to me at around 1 pm and I had work immediately after.'

On Tuesday morning, a user on TikTok uploaded a video saying that she had also been punched in the head.

The user, @malous228, revealed that she had been hit on Saturday, March 23 in Times Square when she walking out of the subway station.

She said a random man came up and punched her in the head. The TikTokker said she's still sore and that it was a 'traumatic experience'.

She also managed to get a video of the alleged attacker after he had chased her.

Toninato recently posted an update to her social media saying that victim support would be covering her medical bills.

She also added that the detective working her case had saw the man walking the streets and arrested him.

On Tuesday, user jesslovesblueberrybagels shared a video saying she had also been assaulted while she was holding her Kindle.

She said: 'A little bit over a month ago, I was assaulted. The man swung at me, hit my kindle, spat at me and was yelling at me.

'I made a video and it was perceived in not the best way. People were messaging me calling me just about every slur in the book.

'Somebody commented that the man should have sexually assaulted me. People can really be so terrible.

'I made a post saying people don't believe black woman and people were just commenting on it being like race card, you're being dramatic whatever.

'The way that all these other woman who have been assaulted, the way that their videos have been perceived versus my comment section for the exact same situation - is literally insane.

'It's just really frustrating the way that the world doesn't believe or protect black women ever.'

Another woman shared a video of herself on Thursday explaining a similar situation saying 'the copy cats have begun'.

She said: 'A man walks up on me and bucks at me, and while he bucks at me he is like "get off your phone".

'So I clocked him with my umbrella and busted his lip. He got really mad and was like "I was just joking you f***ing b**ch."

'The copy cats have begun, they arrested the guy who was punching the white girls but the copy cats have started uptown.'
