Newcastle United are in the race for Tosin Adarabioyo's signature but the Fulham defender has still to commit to a new club.

Adarabioyo is out of contract this summer and has informed Fulham he will not sign a new deal with them.

He was subsequently left out of their squad to face Crystal Palace last weekend and is expected to be omitted from their final three Premier League squads also.

The 26-year old had been open minded about staying at Craven Cottage but all parties were unable to find a common ground for a fresh agreement.

His age and Premier League experience make him an attractive option for a number of clubs conscious of working within profit and sustainability rules with Newcastle, AC Milan, Manchester United and Liverpool among those to have shown a recent interest.

Mail Sport understands the race for his signature is open with no agreement close at this stage.

Newcastle are also maintaining talks over a move for Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly, another out of contract this summer, though his representatives have fielded enquiries from foreign clubs too.
