Fresh details have emerged over the alleged domestic violence incident that led to police in Dallas issuing an arrest warrant for Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller.

Earlier on Thursday, the two-time Super Bowl winner was accused of assaulting a pregnant woman, believed to be his long-term girlfriend. Her identity has not been confirmed.

Police were called to the scene of a 'major disturbance' around 11am on Wednesday.

Now fresh details have emerged after the Dallas Morning News obtained the arrest-warrant affidavit.

In it, Miller is accused of putting his hands around her neck and applying pressure, ripping out some of her hair, stamping on her laptop and shoving her onto a sofa.

Police in Dallas have issued an arrest warrant for star NFL linebacker Von Miller on Thursday

Miller, left, has had a successful NFL career and is currently playing for the Buffalo Bills

It's claimed that Miller and the woman have been in a relationship for seven years and she told officers she is six weeks pregnant.

Whilst arguing over upcoming travel plans, the woman left the main bedroom and went into their office and slammed the door, which left Miller 'visibly angry.'

He then entered the office and demanded she 'get out' of their apartment. As she started to collect her things, it's alleged Miller then shoved and pushed her.

Despite the woman yelling 'stop, I'm pregnant', it's claimed Miller continued to shove her and, as he stepped on her feet, she fell back into a chair.

It's then claimed her 'put a hand on her neck and applied pressure for three to five seconds', which hurt her but did not affect her breathing.

Miller then allegedly grabbed her phone, threw her laptop on the floor and stamped on it.  As she tried to retrieve her laptop, Miller pulled her hair and ripped out a chunk of it.

It's then claimed she got back to her feet and started recording Miller on her phone in her pocket.

Miller is currently in the second of a six-year deal with the Bills worth $120million

Miller is then believed to have grabbed her again before pushing her back onto a couch and then placing both of his hands around her neck and applying pressure.

He then left when she told him she was calling the police.

When police arrived they found the woman had 'minor abrasions' on her left hand and bruising on her abdomen, left bicep and neck.

It also claims she had evidence of messages with Miller that showed he was aware she was pregnant.

Assaulting a pregnant person is a third-degree felony in Texas

Miller, 34, is a two-time Super Bowl winner and has played for the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams, as well as the Bills.

The eight-time Pro Bowl selection was also investigated for domestic violence in Colorado in 2021 but was never charged.

The Dallas Police Department told DailyMail.com: 'On November 29, 2023 at about 11:00am, Dallas Police responded to the 3100 block of N. Harwood for a major disturbance call.

'The preliminary investigation determined the suspect, 34-year-old Vonnie Miller, and the victim got into a verbal argument and the suspect assaulted the victim.

'Miller left the scene before officers arrived. The victim was not transported to a hospital, but was treated for minor injuries.

'An arrest warrant has been issued for Miller for Assault - Pregnant Person.'

A statement from the Buffalo Bills read: 'This morning, we were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this point.'

The NFL said: 'We are aware of the matter and have been in contact with the club. We have no further comment at this time.'

Miller is a two-time Super Bowl winner, most recently with the Los Angeles Rams in 2022

Miller, who was born in DeSoto, Texas and played college football at Texas A&M, is back in Dallas because the Bills are currently on a bye week.

He has won the Super Bowl twice - first with the Denver Broncos in 2016 and then with the Los Angeles Rams in 2022.

Miller and his girlfriend welcomed their second son in February.

He announced that the child, who was born on the seven-year anniversary of his Super Bowl win with the Broncos - was named Victory.

They welcomed their first child in August 2021, another boy named Valor.

Miller is currently in the second of a six-year deal with the Bills worth $120million.

Last season, he tore his ACL on Thanksgiving and did not return to action until October. So far this season he has managed just two tackles in eight games.
