Nikola Jokic wins third NBA MVP, beating Luka Doncic and Jalen Brunson to prestigious award... with Anthony Edwards missing top three

Nikola Jokic has been named the 2024 NBA Most Valuable Player.

On Wednesday evening, the NBA announced that the Denver Nuggets star secured the prestigious award for the third time in his career.

In his eighth season, Jokic averaged 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, and nine assists while shooting 58.3 percent from the field as the Nuggets secured a second-seed finish in the West.

Their 56-25 season came after Jokic led Denver to their first NBA title last year by defeating the Miami Heat in five games.
