A woman claims she felt 'sick' after discovering the crunchy topping on her Domino's pizza was a bitten fingernail she had been chomping on.
Sophie Fruen ordered a medium 'create your own' pizza with chicken, mushroom, onion and sweetcorn on November 11, during a night in with her boyfriend and sister in Worksop, 19 miles from Sheffield.
The 21-year-old chomped down on what she initially believed was one of the crunchy toppings, while her boyfriend Jay Kendall, 20, and sister Evangeline, ten, ate theirs.
The personal assistant was disgusted to find what she claims was a 'bitten fingernail' lurking in the dough.
Sickened, Ms Fruen says she rang the Worksop branch eight times, where she collected the order from, but was unable to get through.

Ms Fruen said: 'I'd already eaten one slice of pizza. While I was chewing the second slice of pizza it was crunchy.
'At first I thought it was a piece of crispy sweetcorn or onion until I spat it out.
'I believe it's a fingernail, it's like someone's bitten the end of their fingernail off, I saw it straight away.
'It was the whole top of a nail. I'm pretty sure someone bit it off because there were tiny breaks in the nail.
'It made me feel sick and then I didn't want to eat the rest of my pizza.'
Sophie, her boyfriend and sister jumped into the car and drove to the branch with the pizza and offending item.
After explaining the situation, plumber merchant sales assistant Mr Kendall requested a replacement and a refund.
But Mr Kendall, who waited in the car with her sister, claims after he was handed the fresh pizza he was told he would no longer receive his cash back.
Now the couple, who spent £35 on the pizzas, chicken strippers and chocolate doughballs, is refusing to eat from there in future.
Ms Fruen continued: 'I tried ringing Domino's eight times and they didn't answer so I ended up having to drive up with the nail in the box.
'I was with my sister in the car so my boyfriend took it in.
'There was a lady behind the counter who was really mortified, she went and got a manager.

The Nottinghamshire girl went on X, formerly known as Twitter, to highlight her experience
She was unimpressed with the automated response she received that addressed her as ‘Sorry, FIRST NAME’ and had failed to put her name into the sentence
'He came out and said 'would you rather a pizza or a refund?'. He said both and it's not hygienic.
'He waited 20 minutes for the pizza. When my boyfriend said 'what about the refund?' he said 'you don't get a refund because we've made your pizza'.
'I was more annoyed because everyone else's food at home had gone cold so they all had cold pizza.
'I had a good look at the replacement pizza because I didn't really want to be eating another fingernail. It put me off, I didn't really want to eat it.
'We've been ordering from there every couple of weeks for a year. It was one of my favourite takeaway places.
'I loved Domino's but now I don't, it's put my sister off eating it as well.'

Ms Fruen said: 'I don't even think it would be bad if it was a hair because hair obviously can come out all the time, you can't really help that.
'But the fact that that's somebody's fingernail and someone's physically bitten that [is bad].
'Even if someone's nail had broken off, you know when your nail's snapped off. You'd say to someone "we need to bin the rest of this dough, I've broken a nail".
'I won't order from that store again.'
After being contacted for comment, Domino's said they'd been in touch with Sophie and offered a full refund and replacement pizza.
A Domino's spokesman said: 'Great-tasting, quality pizza is what we pride ourselves on and all our food goes through a strict, thorough quality check before it is sent out to customers.
'We have contacted this customer and offered a full refund and replacement pizza to make up for them not being able to enjoy their Domino's on this occasion.'
