Rainbow Laces weekend

This is the Premier League's Rainbow Races weekend, and both sides are showing their support with the multi-coloured captain's armband, understanding that football should be a sport for all, regardless of gender and sexual identity.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin update from the Toffees

'Dom’s got a minor situation with his calf. After the [injury problems] of the last couple of years he’s done very well more recently with a good run of games and fitness.

'We had to make a judgement call but Beto comes in for his chance. Let’s see what he can do for us.'

Burnley are now 5-0 up against ten-man Sheffield United

Everton are bottom of the table - but are just a point behind the Blades in 19th, and have a vastly better goal difference. They'll go above Sheffield United with a point this evening - but they'd love to get all three.

For Nottingham Forest, they would jump from 15th to 12th place with a win, but a draw would not elevate them in the Premier League table at this time.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is out, but Beto is fit again and able to replace him in Sean Dyche's frontline.

James Tarkowski has the armband for the Toffees at The City Ground.

Everton's starting 11: Pickford, Young, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Harrison, Garner, Gueye, McNeil, Doucoure, Beto

Nottingham Forest team in full

Sangare, Aurier, Yates and Boly are in for Steve Cooper's hosts this evening.

Niakhate, Aina, Dominguez and Danilo drop out.

Nottingham Forest's starting 11: Vlachodimos, Aurier, Boly, Murillo, Toffolo, Mangala, Gibbs-White, Sangare, Yates, Elanga, Wood

Team news is in

Nottingham Forest make four changes from last time out, with midfielder Ibrahim Sangare returning from illness despite being a doubt for this one.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin misses out for Everton, as he suffers from muscle tightness. That's Sean Dyche's only change.

Team news is five minutes away

The latest in the story of Everton's 10-point deduction

For Everton, it's been a turbulent time for the side, not specifically on the pitch - coming into this one with three wins in their last five league games - but for the 10-point deduction handed down for financial rule breaches.Yesterday, they confirmed they had appealed the sanction with the Premier League, and an appeal board will hear the case.

Last weekend, they were undone by moments of brilliance from Manchester United, including that Garnacho goal, but now they have a game they will be desperate to win, with Forest among those who will be in the relegation fight this season, alongside the newly promoted trio.

What's next for the Toffees? They have home games against Newcastle and Chelsea after this. It's not going to get any easier for Sean Dyche's side.

What can Steve Cooper do?

The rumour mill has circulated around Steve Cooper's position as Nottingham Forest manager. They have just one win from their last nine league outings, and it has increased speculation that the higher management are considering a change.

It's a tough call, because no team wants to be narrowly above the relegation zone, but he's overseen their promotion to the top flight despite taking over when Forest were bottom of the Championship.

A huge 90 minutes - with a positive result - and you'd feel that his job is safe, for now. A poor outcome, and it increases the possibility Cooper could be the next Premier League manager to be axed.

75 minutes until things get underway at The City Ground.

A big clash at the foot of the table

This is a big clash at the foot of the table, with Nottingham Forest in 15th place as I write, and Everton 20th.

This is all dependant on this afternoon's games too - Burnley are currently 2-0 up, which has sent the Toffees to the foot of the table.

My colleague Ed Carruthers is across the 3pm games: Brentford - Luton, Arsenal - Wolves and Burnley - Sheffield United. I'll keep you posted on the results that will impact on the teams this evening.
