Decorated NSW Blues enforcer Mark Geyer has called out Billy Slater over his simmering feud with rival Origin coach Michael Maguire ahead of game two, declaring the former star fullback 'didn't have a rosy career himself.'
Speaking on Triple M's Mick & MG in the Morning on Tuesday, a typically blunt Geyer didn't mince his words.
It followed Slater suggesting NSW deliberately targeted Queensland young gun Reece Walsh in the series opener on June 5 in Sydney.
Blues centre Joseph Sua'ali'i was sent off after just seven minutes following a brutal late hit on Walsh, with the Maroons cruising to a 38-10 win at Accor Stadium.
On Monday, Maguire fired back at the accusation from Slater, telling reporters: 'You've got to make sure that you don't live in glass houses, that's all I'll say.'

Slater had a supporter in fellow Maroons great Gorden Tallis, who savaged Maguire on NRL 360 for his comments
It was a reference to Slater's at times questionable conduct on the field for the Melbourne Storm, Queensland and Australia.
Much to the frustration of many rival fans, in his footy career Slater often resorted to the dangerous tactic of diving feet first at opposition players attempting to score tries.
A fired up Geyer was quick to remind Slater over the airwaves he wasn't regarded in all corners as a clean player.
'He didn't have a rosy career himself at times, he was suspended on numerous occasions,' Geyer fumed.
'They [NRL] actually changed the rules to stop players from sliding in with their boots....Billy did that all the time.
'Before you start throwing stones at Joseph Sua'ali'i, you need to make sure your [own] record doesn't come into question.'

'If Madge wants to have a go at another coach it should be about his coaching career, not about his playing career because when Billy talks about a guy getting targeted, he'd know because there's no player that was targeted more than Billy Slater in his era,' Tallis said.
'I played against Madge and he probably was never targeted....no one even knew he was on the field.'
Game two of the Origin series is at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on June 26.
