Cricket fans have been left bemused after the ICC announced its team of the tournament following the conclusion of the World Cup.
Six India stars made the list of 12 players on Monday, while only two Australians represented the newly-crowned champions in the team captained by Rohit Sharma.
The tournament hosts enjoyed an incredible run to the final in Ahmedabad, winning all of their 10 matches and earning countless plaudits along the way.
But despite being tactically outclassed by Aussie counterpart Pat Cummins in the final, Sharma was named captain of the team of the tournament. Fast-bowler Cummins did not make the side.
Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami also made the team.

Despite his heroics in the final, Aussie superstar Travis Head did not make the cut

Glenn Maxwell, who hit a stunning double century to rescue his side against Afghanistan, makes the cut, as does Adam Zampa.
But there is no room for Travis Head. The batter arrived midway through the tournament due to injury but played a starring role for the Aussies, hitting 137 runs against India to win the final on Sunday.
Despite that incredible performance, Head fails to make the side, while David Warner also misses out even though he rediscovered his mojo in India.
Unsurprisingly, cricket fans were quick to question the team of the tournament.
'There should be more than 2 Australian players on that list,' one fan said.
Another added: 'Only 2 players from the World Cup winning team!'
'Where is the man responsible for winning the final?' a third fan asked, referring to Head.
Another fan questioned the very concept of a 'team of the tournament'.
'What's the point? The team of the tournament was the team that won it.'
