Paddy 'the Baddy' Pimblett and his wife Laura have welcomed twin girls into the world, they shared to social media on Wednesday night.

The special day actually came a week ago, on April 17, with the couple gushing over their babies Betsy and Margot on Instagram.

'Never felt a love like this, my forever best friends,' Laura wrote on the platform.

According to Laura's Instagram post, Betsy was born at 3:54am at 5 pounds and 2 ounces.

Laura said  she'd 'never felt a love like this' in a post announcing the birth of the twin girls

Margot followed two minutes later and 4 bounds and 11 ounces.

The pair each posted a slew of loved-up photos with the girls, as Paddy was seen snuggling with his twins in one snap.

In another snap, the twins were seen together in a crib with the family's dog nearby.

Paddy and Laura wed on May 23 of last year after dating since they were teenagers.

He reportedly proposed to her three years ago whilst on vacation in Thailand.

The UFC star, 29, has a 21-3-0 record, with his last win coming over Tony Ferguson at UFC 296 in December.

In January, Pimblett named the fighters that he dislikes most in the promotion.

Speaking on the Happy Endings podcast, he named featherweight contender Ilia Topuria as one he disliked, referring to the Georgian as 'hand sanitizer boy.'

In another picture, the girls were seen in their crib as the family's dog adorably posed nearby

'He's a sausage. He tried to throw a slap at me when I was on my own, and he was with about 12 of his mates. He tried to throw a slap at me, so I stepped back and threw a hand sanitiser bottle at his head.

'That's why I call him hand sanitiser boy. I don't even know his name. I just know him as hand sanitiser boy.'

15-6 lightweight Terrance McKinney also drew the ire of the Scouse fighter, with Pimblett accusing the American of attempting to secure a fight against him via social media.

'That little mushroom that goes by the dinosaur name. Whatever his name is, that mushroom, he doesn't stop talking about me. You can type a name in on someone's [X account], and he's got about f****** 700 tweets [about me].

The date and opponent of Pimblett's next fight are not yet known.
