Australia has secured another Olympic medal, with Jess Morrison and Annabelle McIntyre winning bronze in the rowing.
Gold was taken by the Dutch pair of Ymkje Clevering and Veronique Meester, who dominated the race from the off.
But the Aussies were narrowly pipped to the finish line by the Romanians, who swept past Morrison and McIntyre in the final stages.
The Australian pair won gold at the Tokyo Games but fell short of repeating history in Paris.
