Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany throw gender reveal party as couple announce whether third child is a boy or girl with adorable Tic-Tac-Toe game

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes staged a heartwarming gender reveal party after announcing last week that they are expecting a third child together.

Brittany revealed she is pregnant again last Friday, with the Kansas City Chiefs WAG showing off her baby scans alongside Patrick and their two children in a shock post on social media.

A week on from that announcement, the Mahomes' have now confirmed whether their third child will be a boy or a girl in an adorable video on Instagram.

The clip shows the couple's three-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye, revealing that she has a big sister on the way through a giant game of Tic-Tac-Toe.

Patrick can be seen helping her turn over giant tiles to reveal three consecutive pink crosses - confirming that the baby will be a girl. 

His younger brother Jackson was one of the first to comment on the video of the gender reveal, writing: 'So exciting!!!!' 

Brittany, who married the Chiefs quarterback in 2022 after a decade together, gave birth to their second child less than two years ago.

Son Patrick 'Bronze' was born on November 28, 2022, with Sterling Skye welcomed on February 20, 2021. 

A number of fans were quick to point out last week that Mahomes' third child could be a good omen for the Chiefs after their back-to-back Super Bowl victories.

One simply commented: '3 kids = 3 peat'.

Another put: 'Three Mahomes babies…good luck for our Chiefs THREE-PEAT!!!'
