PBC has announced a new multi-year broadcasting deal with Prime as Showtime prepare to wave goodbye to boxing at the end of 2023.
Al Haymon - former advisor to Floyd Mayweather Jr - and his Premier Boxing Champions promotion has worked with Showtime since launching back in 2015, while also televising fight cards on both NBC and FOX Sports over the years.
However, as Showtime gear up for their last ever boxing broadcast on December 16 - when WBA super middleweight champion David Morrell defends his title against Sena Agbeko - PBC has struck a new deal with Amazon's Prime Video.
The multi-year broadcasting agreement is set to begin in 2024, with Prime Video to become the home of their US boxing 'pay-per-view events, championship bouts, behind-the-scenes docuseries and more'.

This year alone, the promotion's matchups included Spence vs Terence Crawford, Davis vs Ryan Garcia and Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo.
As part of their agreement with Prime, PBC's future PPV events will be available for any customers to purchase, regardless of whether they are Prime members or not.
'We are thrilled to join with Premier Boxing Champions to bring the best boxers in the world to Prime Video, and to give more fans than ever the chance to experience these must-see events,' said Marie Donoghue, VP of US sports content and partnerships for Amazon.
'With live coverage of PBC action throughout the calendar year, Prime Video continues to bring viewers in the U.S. and around the world the best in sports.'
