BREAKING NEWS: Play delayed

This just in from PGA Championship officials:

'AM starting times for the first round of the 2024 PGA Championship are delayed 10 minutes due to fog.'

So that's Michael Block, Luke Donald and Shaun Micheel now heading out at 7:25am local time.

Rory McIlroy latest

Before the golf gets underway, it would be remiss of us to not mention the story that has dominated the headlines leading into this tournament: Rory McIlroy's divorce from his wife Erica Stoll.

Although the media were warned about questioning McIlroy on the subject, it's fair to say it was a huge shock - with the news dropping just three days out from the start of play this morning.

McIlroy filed the divorce papers in Florida on Monday, and has been putting on a brave face
