The father of a Philadelphia Eagles star has been allegedly caught with a loaded gun while driving in the Bronx, according to multiple reports.
The New York Police Department discovered the weapon after pulling Alibay Barkley over during a traffic stop at the intersection of 140th Street and Third Avenue in Mott Haven, Fox News reported on Thursday night - a day after the incident.
It's unclear if other passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop.
Alibay Barkley is the father of former Giants running back Saquon Barkley, who was raised in the Bronx and played in New York for the last six seasons. Barkley Sr could now end up being charged with criminal possession of a weapon, per Fox News.
Saquon, 27, was the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2018. He signed with the Eagles as a free agent in March.
