Porn star Sophie Anderson dies aged 36 - two weeks after death of ex-Crystal Palace footballer boyfriend Oliver Spedding

Porn star Sophie Anderson has died aged 36 just two weeks after the death of her footballer boyfriend Oliver Spedding, it was tragically revealed today.

The mother-of-four, who had been working as an adult actress since 2017, met former Crystal Palace player Spedding while working on the set of a porn film.

Anderson was a prolific adult actress who claimed to have slept with tens of thousands of men, and previously flew to the US to have 32JJ silicone breast implants. Friends said that Anderson died earlier this week, reported The Sun.

In March last year, the actress from Slough, Berkshire, was left fighting for life with sepsis after one of her left breast implants became infected and later exploded.

Anderson became a major name after a video with fellow actress Rebecca More – who branded themselves the 'C**k Destroyers' - became hugely popular in 2018.

More, whose real name is Rebecca Jones and who is also a mother-of-four, wrote on Instagram last night: 'I'm devastated hearing the awful news of Sophie's passing. We shared some amazing times together and that's how I'm going to remember her.

'The bubbly, funny, kind hearted soul who was outrageous on the outside but also so gentle behind closed doors. We were very close, and we shared a crazy time together that was totally unique to us. 

'That's how I will remember her. This is so tragic but I know you are now at peace. I will always love you and hold a special place in my heart.'

Another admirer, posting on X as 'Vilanelle's Hair Pin', added: 'Sophie Anderson has passed away, I feel physically sick and shaken.

'We had agreed to meet up once I moved down south and I'm devastated that this won't be happening.

'I adored Sophie, she was one of my biggest inspirations, she was truly one in a million. Rest In Power Queen.'

A third added on X: 'RIP Sophie Anderson. The last few months of her life have clearly been so difficult.

'I rang her less than a month ago on the off chance and to my surprise she answered and was so grateful.

'Her and Rebecca brought porn to the mainstream - and laughs to many. Night Night, Soph.'

It follows the death of ex-footballer turned porn actor Spedding, who also played for Croydon FC and was praised by the team's manager Liam Giles as a 'warrior on the pitch'.

The cause of death for Spedding – who went under the name Damian Oliver in the porn industry - has not yet been confirmed.

In an appearance on the Anything Goes with James English podcast last year, Spedding revealed his regrets over going into porn after a spell in prison.

He said that he starred in X-rated films for just £150 a movie, adding that he would have 'been earning a lot more playing football' if he had stayed with Palace.

Spedding said: 'I used to fight as well, maybe that could have gone somewhere. I was good at both of those things, but being a porn star, I thought that would be just as good - but it's not as good as people think.'

In August 2022, MailOnline reported on a video of Anderson featuring her squeezing pus out of a hole in her breast after her implant procedure went wrong.

She said an infection caused the implant in her left breast to burst out of her chest, forcing her to seek reconstructive surgery. This procedure left her with a deformed and swollen nipple-less breast. 

Desperate to get her breast repaired, Anderson had begged her fans for help, setting up a GoFundMe page to get reconstructive surgery which raised nearly £11,500, with some of her top fans donating as much as £500.

She eventually decided to head to Belgium for a corrective procedure, forking out over £15,000 in total. 

But she was left deeply unhappy with the results, describing her deformed breast as looking like 'Bigfoot's foot' in a separate video, where she also revealed she was in hospital fighting sepsis.

Speaking about the ordeal, she described Spedding as her 'rock' and praised him for helping her get through her 'darkest days'.
