We're just minutes away from kick off around the grounds in today's five Premier League games. Stick with us throughout the afternoon for all the key updates.

Newcastle seeking to extend unbeaten streak

It's been a difficult season for Newcastle, largely hampered by injuries, but they can go three games unbeaten today at Craven Cottage.

Eddie Howe has been under some pressure to find an improvement in form during the end of season run-in and history is on their side having not lost at Fulham since 2016.

John McGinn returns for Villa

Villa were well beaten by Man City earlier in the week but are boosted by the return of their captain for today's clash against Brentford.

John McGinn has served his three-match suspension after previously being sent off against Tottenham and slots right back in to Unai Emery's starting side.

Everton explain Idrissa Gueye's absence

Everton are without two midfielders in the form of Idrissa Gueye and Amadou Onana, with Sean Dyche revealing the reasons for both their absence from Goodison Park.

Gueye's partner gave birth last night and in the wise words of Dyche has 'a lot on his plate' while Onana is recovering from injury.

It's all over at Palace

Man City have just beat Crystal Palace 4-2 at Selhurst Park to move level on 70 points with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League.

It was an emphatic performance from Pep Guardiola's title-challengers who initially went behind before Kevin de Bruyne inspired the visitors to a brilliant comeback.

You can follow all the reaction from that game below.

Today's talking points

Phew, now that's the team news sorted, what are some of the big talking points this afternoon?

Well, Everton's hosting of Burnley is a real bottom-of-the-table humdrum with the Toffees currently four points adrift of the relegation zone and Burnley only eight points from safety.

Meanwhile, Luton are desperate to continue their tangle with the top-flight and a visit from Bournemouth - who are virtually safe - could be the perfect opportunity to nick three points.

Aston Villa will want to further cement their place in the top four and victory over Brentford will be a huge boost for Unai Emery's Champions League hopefuls.
