Vladimir Putin has pardoned a smiling cannibal, releasing the mass murderer from his 22-year jail sentence after he fought and was wounded fighting against Ukraine.
Denis Gorin, 44, is the latest brutal criminal to be freed from jail and allowed back into society.
It follows the release of a Satanist cannibal killer, revealed earlier this week.
Gorin killed for the first time in 2002, slicing off the ears and pieces of flesh from the body which he later ate.
His victim - the first of four - had been stabbed more than 50 times.

He was sentenced to ten years in jail and released early for 'good behaviour'.
In November 2010, he killed a man named Alexander, 36, for which he was finally convicted in 2017 after the body was found.
Gorin admitted to stripping the corpses and cutting off flesh and eating it, before dumping the remains in a river.
Gorin 'cut soft tissue from the victim's limbs using a knife he had with him, which he later consumed as food', said the court verdict.
He kept the human meat in his fridge and cooked it later, the court heard.
In 2012, he and his brother brutally beat their nephew's alleged abuser to death.

In fact, the victim was an innocent man and not the alleged abuser.
Another murder in 2012 was also taken into account as he was jailed for 22 years.
But now he is in hospital recovering from war wounds after receiving his pardon from Putin.
'He is in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, in the hospital, with a moderate injury,' his neighbour told Sibir.Realii.

Earlier this week it was revealed Putin had pardoned Nikolay Ogolobyak, 33, who dismembered teenagers.
A self-confessed cannibalistic Satanist, he was convicted of killing and devouring two children.
He was the oldest among a sect of Satanists in Yaroslavl and all four were convicted of grotesque crimes.
The Satanists killed three girls and one boy aged between 16 and 17 after engaging in animal sacrifices and digging up human graves.
Each of the teenagers were drugged and stabbed 666 times with daggers, dismembered and then cooked on a bonfire in a revolting Satanist ritual conducted over two nights.
The criminals including Ogolobyak recited a Satanist text found on the Internet.
Their limbs, hearts, scalps, breasts and genitals were cut off and were recovered in a pit along with the body of a small rodent crucified on an upside-down cross.
Anna Gorokhova, 16, Olga Pukhova, 15, Vavara Kuzmina, 16 and Andrei Sorokin, 16, went missing in June 2008 and their bodies were only found in the middle of August.
They were declared victims of 'brutal ritualist child murders' by a Russian court after a two-year criminal investigation.

Ogolobyak was found guilty of murdering two people.
Putin has pardoned thousands of rapists, murderers and maniacs who have fought for him in Ukraine.
Those who stay alive for six months, or are discharged earlier after getting wounded, have their criminal records wiped.
The scale of releases of hardened criminals is causing deep concern in Russia.
