Detectives are treating the death of a woman killed in a lawnmower tragedy as suspicious - as it is revealed there was a history of domestic violence at the address.
The mower reportedly rolled over about 3am on Tuesday, crushing the woman underneath, at the property on Thomas Road at Upper Lockyer, near Toowoomba in south-east Queensland.
Paramedics rushed to the scene, but the victim in her 40s died from her injuries.
Detectives have spent Tuesday collecting evidence from the home, which has been declared a crime scene, the Toowoomba Chronicle reports.
There were reportedly domestic violence orders in place between the occupants of the rural property.
Detectives have been interviewing local residents and collecting CCTV footage as part of the investigation.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
