Follow Mail Sport's live coverage as Manchester United travel up to Scotland to take on Rangers in a pre-season friendly at Murrayfield.

Ten Hag: 'Sancho and I drew a line and moved on'

Erik ten Hag, Manchester United boss, speaking on Jadon Sancho:

We spoke well. Everyone can make a mistake. We draw a line and move on. This club needs good players and one thing is certain - Jadon is a very good player. I hope it will click and contribute to our success.

Tottenham take the lead

There has been a goal in west London, but for who...

As you can see by the sub-heading, it's Spurs that have taken the initiative against QPR just before half-time.

May I say, what a blooming goal this is by Yves Bissouma.

So sweetly struck, he nearly took the net off!

Today's venue

Some of you may be confused as to why this isn't being played at Ibrox, right?

Well, it just isn't.

Instead, Manchester United are doing battle with Rangers at Murrayfield - Scotland's rugby stadium - in Edinburgh.

I mean, it is stunning.

United take to the pitch

Kick-off is edging closer, and closer.

In truth, I am really excited about this match. I don't usually get too hyped up about friendlies, but today feels different.

Erik ten Hag's men have now taken to the turf to run through their final preparations.

You can see that their squad is already getting stronger just by seeing who is going out there.

Not too shabby.

It's been a while...

It feels like a lifetime since we last saw these two teams meet.

For some young fans, it will be.

Rangers and Manchester United last faced in November 2010 in a Champions League group stage match.

In a tight affair, United ran out 1-0 winners at Ibrox thanks to a Wayne Rooney penalty.

Hopefully, there are more goals today...

Seeing double?

I had to take a double take for a second.

Erik ten Hag and Philippe Clement have had a little chat while their side went out to warm up.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't think they looked similar at first glance, but after a while, it's easy to tell the difference.

Both seem happy in each other's company, that's for sure.

Tottenham take on QPR

Manchester United are not the only Premier League side in action today.

Tottenham's second pre-season match is already underway, they are taking on Championship side QPR at Loftus Road.

Donning their new away kit, Ange Postecoglou has gone fairly strong with his line-up in west London.

Son Heung-Min, Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner, and Pape Sarr are all playing.

The match is currently 0-0 with 25 minutes gone.

Return of the Sanch

Well, well, well...

I must admit, it seemed like there was no way back for Jadon Sancho at Manchester United, but times seem to have changed.

The English winger's tumultuous relationship with Erik ten Hag may seemingly be on the mend as he gets his chance to show what he has got in his locker.

On his day, Sancho is spectacular.

If this is a sign that he will get minutes for United this season, that is worrying for other teams in the Premier League.

Rangers Team News

And in the blue corner...

Philippe Clement has named the 11 players he wants to do battle with Manchester United in Edinburgh.

Former Man United star Jack Butland is upon those who start for Rangers, taking his place between the sticks.

It's going to be a memorable day for many of these stars, no matter what happens.

Man United Team News - Yoro STARTS

We will indeed!

It took us just one minute to answer our own question - Leny Yoro does indeed get his first start for Manchester United.

The 18-year-old defender will line up next to Jonny Evans in the hearts of United's defence.

There is also a start for Jadon Sancho...

At one point, some people thought he may never play for United under Erik ten Hag - but here he is.

Look, Leny's here...

Here is the man of the hour, Leny Yoro.

Manchester United's newest recruit is in the house this evening after only signing two days ago.

So, what can we expect from the 18-year-old? He has been hyped up after his performances in a Lille shirt.

Will we get to see him from the start?

We will find out very soon...

United go north of the border

Now this is going to be a cracker!

Not all pre-season matches fill people with excitement, but today's encounter between Rangers and Manchester United is sure to get those taste buds tingling.

The biggest team in England against one of the top two teams in Scotland. It may be a friendly but there is a lot on the line.

Erik ten Hag's side will be looking to bounce back from disappointment against Rosenborg in their first pre-season encounter.

Rangers won't let them have it all their own way, though.

Right, let's get into the action at Murrayfield!
