The Baltimore Ravens defeated the AFC North rival Cincinnati Bengals 34-20 in a game that saw multiple big-name players deal with potentially troublesome injuries.

Thursday night's game got off to an auspicious start when Ravens tight end Mark Andrews went down with an ankle injury on the game's opening possession.

Andrews taken down with a hip-drop tackle by Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson. As Wilson landed on the back of Andrew's legs the tight end's ankle could be seen bending at an awkward angle. Ravens John Harbaugh told reporters after the game Andrews injury looks like it will end his season during postgame press conference.

Shortly after this, Ravens fans were given a scare when quarterback Lamar Jackson remained on the turf following a tackle with an ankle issue. Jackson was checked out in the blue medical tent before jogging off the injury and proceeding to return to the game on the next Ravens possession.

Jackson finished the game going 16-26, 264 passing yards, and two touchdowns. He also picked up 54 rushing yards on nine attempts despite his ankle not being at 100%.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow left the game with a injury to his throwing hand in the second

The Bengals did not benefit from the same amount of luck after Joe Burrow picked up a hand injury in the second quarter, however. Burrow had been dealing with a wrist injury and appear to tweak the problem after being hit on a passing play.

Shortly after he was in clear pain as after throwing a touchdown pass to running back Joe Mixon, before being checked by trainers in the medical tent. Mixon also ran the ball 16 times for 69 yards to go along with five catches for 31 yards.

Upon leaving the tent and trying to throw passes on the sideline Burrow was unable to lift his arm above a 90-degree angle and was said to have trouble gripping the ball as well.

He attempted to two passes before shaking his head no and eventually running to the locker room before being ruled out for the rest of the contest.

Before leaving the game, Burrow completed 11-17 passes and picked up 101 yards to go along with the TD pass.

Following the game Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said he believes Burrow's injury is a sprained wrist for the time being.

Ravens receiver Odell Beckham Jr also left the game in the final minutes after picking up a shoulder injury.

Beckham had a tremendous game before aggravating the issue he picked up earlier in the season and ended his night with four catches for 116 receiving yards.

All three of the Ravens major injuries came from Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson.
