Baltimore Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell is expected to miss the rest of the season after being forced off with a gruesome knee injury late on in their win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Following a 13-yard run in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game, Mitchell lost his footing when Jaguars safety Andrew Wingard lunged in with a late diving tackle.
The 21-year-old's leg appeared to bend nastily after the challenge, before he was carried off the field by Ravens medical staff and carted to the locker room.
Despite the severity of his injury, Mitchell gave a thumbs up as he hobbled off the field with just minutes of the game remaining.
And after the win, Ravens coach John Harbaugh revealed his running back is unlikely to play again this season.

'Keaton is going to be a serious injury,' Harbaugh said in his post-game press conference.
'It's a knee injury, so it looks like he won't be back for the rest of the season.'
Before limping out at TIAA Bank Field, Mitchell had nine carries for 73 yards and had caught both of his targets for 15 yards.
