Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham trolled Micah Richards over an apparent wager they had for the Spanish giants' Champions League match against Manchester City.

Richards' former team fell to Bellingham and Los Blancos in penalties on Wednesday after drawing 4-4 on aggregate.

Following the game, the 20-year-old held the CBS soccer analyst to his side of the bet.

'He's still meant to be wearing the Madrid shirt after the little wager we had, so I'm disappointed not to see that,' Bellingham told Anita Nneka Jones. 'Hopefully, we'll see it for the semifinal.'

Bellingham, who has four goals in the Champions League and 16 total for Real Madrid this season, expressed the importance of their win over City as they gear up to face Bayern Munich in the semifinals.

Jude Bellingham trolled Micah Richards over a wager they had after Real Madrid's win

Bellingham and Real Madrid defeated Richard's former team, Manchester City, in penalties

'Massive game [and] massive result for use in the end,' Bellingham shared. 'Taking it to penalties and getting the job done there. We did what it took to win. Everyone had them down as a favorite, but we know what we're capable of, and we showed it tonight.'

Real Madrid's next opponent, Bayern Munich, put Arsenal away with a 1-0 win in the second leg after a 2-2 draw in the first.

However, former Gunner and club legend Thierry Henry suggested that the heartbreaking loss could be a 'good thing' for the Premier League contenders.

'When we play three games a week, we struggle,' Henry said. 'So maybe it could be a good thing for us in the Premier League. But like I said, we're equipped to play every three days.'

The German giants knocked out Premier League contenders Arsenal, 3-2, on aggregate

The Frenchman also noted how both sides were trying not to lose the game more than trying to win it.

'You could see that the two teams, and I mentioned it so many times, they don't wanna lose the game,' Henry claimed. 'They were not really going for it.'

After both falling against their continental counterparts, the two top teams in England can focus on the race to win the Premier League. 32 games into the season, City holds a two-point lead over Arsenal and Liverpool with 73 points.

As Real Madrid and Bayern Munich prepare to play their first leg on April 30, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint Germain will battle on the other side for a spot in the UCL Final in London.
