The abrupt manner in which Luke Littler split up with his girlfriend Eloise Milburn has been revealed.
After it was revealed that the pair had parted ways earlier this week, Littler took to social media to ask fans to give the pair some time and urged trolls to leave Milburn alone.
'Everyone needs to stop sending hate towards Eloise saying it's here [sic] fault this and that.' Littler wrote on his Instagram story.
'I myself split up with Eloise and everyone just needs to give us some time, no need for everyone to message her and give her grief.'
The 17-year-old is said to have been left 'very upset' by the situation as their nascent romance came to an following after ten months together.

21-year-old Milburn was a consistent presence in the audience as Littler was catapulted to superstardom this year
But the pair have since split up, with Littler reportedly delivering the news via text message
However, according to a report from The Sun, Littler's decision to part ways with the 21-year-old Avon sales rep came 'completely out of the blue', with Littler said to have delivered the news via text.
'They'd been speaking the night before and then he just messaged her the next day saying it's over.' A source close to Milburn told the publication.
'She's devastated - she didn't see it coming. They were getting on fine then he dumped her, completely out of the blue.
'Of course he dumped her by text - he's a teenage boy! They do everything on their phones nowadays.
'I'm sure they will remain friends but at the moment it's very raw.'
Milburn had been a consistent presence by Littler's side as he embarked on a sensational run to the final of the PDC World Darts Championship earlier this year.
Entering the tournament ranked outside the top 100, Littler defeated the likes of Brendan Dolan, Raymond van Barneveld and Rob Cross before being bested by Luke Humphries in January.
The pair began dating just weeks before the start of the tournament and only recently shared a holiday to New York together alongside other darts stars and Littler's parents, Lisa and Anthony.

The pair are said to be planning to remain friends despite the abrupt end to their relationship
Milburn - who plays darts at an amateur level herself - was a keen follower of her partner's career and Littler would frequently approach her to give her a kiss following his wins at the oche.
However, the pair also faced criticism over the age gap between them with Littler later revealing he had hired someone to run his Instagram account who deletes such comments before he can see them.
