The current minimum salary that a WWE talent earns has been revealed, and the figure has sparked debate over whether those on the lowest sum are getting 'paid enough'.
WWE is the largest wrestling promotion across the world with a host of top stars including Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley.
The product, under the guidance of former WWE champion Paul 'Triple H' Levesque, has been at the hottest it has been for a number of years.
While the top stars will likely be on much higher salaries, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that the minimum a WWE star earns in a year is $350,000 (£275,000).
This figure has surprised many on social media, though there is a debate whether the amount is enough.

There were some who believe they are on very good money, with one person on X writing: 'Sign me up.'
Another wrote: 'Talk about taking care of your talent,' while a third said: ' S*** that's good on a per year basis. Obviously the main event talent get paid more but $350k a year on the main roster is great.'
A fourth person commented: 'I should bookmark this post for the next time I question a WWE talent for doing a cheesy gimmick.'
However, there were some who debated the lowest salary still wouldn't be enough.
One person wrote: 'It’s still not enough. hotel, per diem, food, travel, health insurance, taxes, and investments, still comes out of their pockets.

Another X user noted that the minimum salary for a player in the National Hockey League (NHL) is $750,000 (£590,000).
And a final person wrote: 'That’s solid, but it’s crazy because more than a decade ago, the base contract was 250k I believe.
'You’re responsible for hotels, rental cars, food, gas, etc. I remember a few wrestlers talking about how it wasn’t a ton of money back then.'
