Jose Mourinho is close to securing his return to football management with Fenerbahce.
Mourinho has reportedly agreed a two-year deal with the Turkish club having been out of management since his departure from Roma in January.
Reports have claimed that the 61-year-old is asking for a special clause to be inserted into his Fenerbahce contract.
The clause would enable Mourinho to leave for free should the opportunity to take up a particular job arise.
Despite having a decorated managerial career at club level, Mourinho has never previously coached a national team.

According to Calcio Mercato, Mourinho wants to be able to leave for free should he get the chance to manage the Portuguese national team.
Mourinho is said to regret not accepting an offer from the Portuguese federation when he was in charge of Roma.
The Special One coached three teams in his homeland at the start of his managerial career, having spells in charge of Benfica, Uniao de Leiria and Porto, memorably winning the Champions League with the latter in 2004.
During his time at Roma, Mourinho won the Europa Conference League in 2022 and also reached the final of the Europa League the following year.
Mourinho revealed that he turned down the opportunity to manage Portugal on two occasions.
Portugal approached Mourinho when he was in charge of Real Madrid and also more recently when he was Roma boss.
When he was at Real, Portugal wanted Mourinho to coach them on a part-time basis, which wasn't possible.
Mourinho told Fabrizio Romano: 'My feeling with Portugal is I had the door open twice "please come and the place is yours".
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez had to intervene when Portugal approached Mourinho
Portugal, who are currently coached by Roberto Martinez, also approached Mourinho when he was at Roma
'Once was when I was in Real Madrid and the objective was to be the Portuguese coach part-time and when I realised the president, Florentino [Perez] told me it's not possible.
'Easy to accept, the second time, "do I regret not taking it?" because a few months later I was sacked in Rome. I don't regret,' said Mourinho.
'I don't regret because the reason why I didn't accept, I'm happy with the reason, so I don't regret to coach a national team tomorrow is an objective, if you ask me tomorrow I am not sure I was going to be happy.
'If you tell me before the World Cup, before the Euros, before the Copa America before the African Cup I would say yes. But two years waiting for that to work, I don't know. Maybe one day I'll accept,' he added.
Portugal are currently managed by Roberto Martinez, who was appointed in January 2023.
