Enzo Fernandez came to verbal blows with Mason Mount on Thursday evening, with the latter succumbing to a truly dramatic defeat at the hands of the former's Chelsea - the England international's boyhood club.
Chelsea and Manchester United played out one of the games of the season at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues eventually coming out on top in a game that saw 47 shots split between the two.
Conor Gallagher had given Chelsea a 2-0 lead, before Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes struck back before the break, the Argentine forward heading a third for United after the interval as the Blues looked set for a bruising defeat.
But with 99 minutes on the clock, Noni Madueke won a penalty which was converted by Palmer, who then somehow made it 4-3 82 seconds later with a 101st-minute winner to spark jubilation for the hosts at the Bridge.
One of the sub-plots to what was a clash of titanic proportions was the return of Mount back to his boyhood club after leaving for United over the summer - and he didn't receive the warmest of welcomes.

Mount has had a trying time at Old Trafford since leaving Chelsea over the summer window
His introduction was greeted with jeers and boos, with some Blues supporters appearing to believe Mount was something of a 'traitor'.
TNT Sports cameras caught the moment when a Chelsea fan lifted up a 2021-22 edition of their home shirt which read 'JUDAS 19'.
Though Mount wears the No 7 for United, during his Chelsea days he wore the No 19 - making it a clear reference by the home supporters.
It was a night to forget for Mount, who spent four full seasons at Chelsea, as he watched his side capitulate deep into added time at Stamford Bridge.
After letting slip a one-goal lead in the ninth minute of stoppage time to suffer a heart-breaking defeat, it emerged that the two midfielders had clashed, with Fernandez sending an X-rated tirade Mount's way.
'This is Chelsea, you ****, coward, coward, coward,' the Argentine is thought to have said to Mount.
Reports suggest Fernandez used the Spanish word 'cagon', which means 'coward' or 'chicken' after Palmer's winning goal at the end of a dramatic encounter.
Football fans on social media were however split by the World Cup winner's actions, with many criticising his comments, although some Chelsea fans seemed to like what they saw.

Fans were divided over Fernandez's alleged comments made during the dramatic clash
One Blues supporter wrote: 'Owns him'
Another claimed: 'This is who my club captain should look and behave like.'
And a third said: 'A proper player schooling Mount how to be a player.'
Others were more disapproving of Fernandez's actions, pointing to the under-whelming impact he has had at Stamford Bridge since arriving for £107million over a year ago.
'Enzo is so arrogant for a guy that hadn't seen above 10th position since he joined Chelsea,' said one football fan.
'This is not acceptable,' claimed another.
Another angle clearly showed the Chelsea star tapping the badge on his shirt towards Mount

'Let him first take Chelsea to the Champions League before yapping for a Champions League winner for Chelsea. Mount has done more than him still for Chelsea,' said a third fan.
Moreover, during the game, Fernandez was seen clashing with Mount - with fans suggesting he was trying to 'trigger a reaction' from the United midfielder.
In a separate clip, Fernandez can be seen kicking the ball at Mount with the two players going head-to-head, before eventually being separated.
A clip showed the Argentine, during his immediate post-match celebrations, turning towards Mount and smacking the Chelsea badge on his chest.
