Family friend Syeda Faria said the teenage boy had just finished school for the year on the day he died.
'Yesterday was the last day of the school term and Mahee’s last day of school for the year,' she said.
'The thought is chilling. It was his last day. His last morning, his last night, his last goodbye to his mother as he walked out the door.
'Mahee, the boy who would always be compared in height to my own brother. ‘Let me see if you are taller than me’ my dad would say to him.
'I am still feeling waves of shock and reality over what has happened.'
Another grieving loved one said they were struggling to accept the tragedy.
'Why this beautiful flower, we have lost so early? Why this innocent face..? This most perfect gentleman?' Karim Mostafil said.
'[He was] so innocent, so humorous, so honest.
'Our eyes full with tears, We do not want to accept it.
