Rio Ferdinand has revealed he underwent a hair and beard transplant at a Turkish clinic in a slick promotional video.
The England and Manchester United legend visited the Dr Cinik hospital in Istanbul for the treatment.
In the social media video released by Dr Cinik, Ferdinand, 45, who is now a popular television pundit on TNT Sports, says: 'I'm here to get my beard sorted out, I've got a couple of holes, a couple of patches.
'Get my hair transplant done. I can't wait to get it done. Listen, if you're ever thinking about getting yours done, this is the place to be.'
The video shows Ferdinand arriving at the clinic in shades, greeting doctor Muhammet Emrah Cinik and undergoing the various stages of the hair replacement treatment.

At the end, he is seen signing a Manchester United shirt to add to similar memorabilia given by other footballers who have visited the clinic.
One shot shows Ferdinand admiring a collection of signed shirts, including those of Liverpool, Marseille, Brazil and Croatia.
The video was released on Monday but it isn't clear exactly when Ferdinand visited. He was part of TNT's punditry team for June's Champions League final in Istanbul.
Their website says Ryan Babel and Bacary Sagna have also been there for hair transplants, while David Trezeguet and Diego Lugano have visited for dental work.
Ferdinand has two children - son Cree and daughter Shea - with his wife Kate, 32.
He had three children - Lorenz, Tate and Tia - with his first wife Rebecca Ellison before she died of breast cancer aged 34 in 2015.
Ferdinand's former England and United team-mate Wayne Rooney underwent a hair transplant in 2011 and again in 2013.
He said at the time of his first one: 'I was going bald at 25, why not. I'm delighted with the result.'
Back in 2021, Ferdinand revealed he used brown dye to cover the greys in his facial hair but claimed he wasn't 'ashamed' of the ageing process.

IT'S ALL KICKING OFF!
It's All Kicking Off is an exciting new podcast from Mail Sport that promises a different take on Premier League football.
It is available on MailOnline, Mail+, YouTube, Apple Music and Spotify.
He told The Mid Point podcast with Gabby Logan: 'I dye my beard sometimes; I get grey hairs there. I dye it. I think it looks better.
'I'm not ashamed of having grey hair, I don't care, but it looks better if it's all one colour.
'If it all went grey, the whole beard was grey, I'd let it just go. But it's like patchwork. I'd like it, that distinguished look, if it was all grey, I wouldn't care. But it's the patchwork business, I'm like a Dalmatian, I don't like it.'
