It's been 19 years since one of the Super Bowl championship rings owned by Robert Kraft was taken by Russian leader Vladimir Putin. Kraft hasn't forgotten.
During a live broadcast of The Roast of Tom Brady on Netflix, Kraft called out the world leader.
'In case Vladimir Putin you're watching, give me my f**king ring back, will ya?,' Kraft said after he gave a toast to Brady.
As the story goes, back in 2005, Kraft met with the Russian president at an event in Saint Petersburg.
'I took out the ring and showed it to him, and he put it on and he goes "I can kill someone with this ring,"' Kraft recalled back in 2013.

Earlier in the night, Tom Brady took exception to a joke Jeff Ross made about Kraft
'I put my hand out and he put it in his pocket, and three KGB guys got around him and walked out.'
Kraft claims that he was told by a White House staff member to not publicly disclose that the ring had been taken against his will and that the official told him to say that he gave the prize to Putin as a gift.
So that's what Kraft did, at the time, but he has since stressed his 'emotional tie' to the ring that he won for helping lead the Patriots to a win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl XXXIX.
Kremlin officials told reporters in 2013 that the ring was in the Kremlin library along with other foreign gifts.
Earlier in the night, comedian Jeff Ross made a joke suggesting that Brady offered to give Kraft a massage when they first met. That was in reference to when Kraft was charged with soliciting a prostitute back in 2019. Those charges have since been dropped.
Former Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman also made a joke at Kraft's expense. He said 'I think the next time I see you all will be at Kraft's funeral.'
When Kraft got the mic later, he retorted, 'Julien, I'm not inviting you to my funeral.'
