Confronting footage has captured the moment a man and woman were arrested at a busy service station over a suspected stolen car.
Video shows a young woman being pinned to the ground with her hands behind her back by multiple police officers at a busy petrol station on Railway Street, Rockdale, in Sydney's southwest, about 2.50pm on Tuesday.
The woman, dressed in a midriff top and shorts, can be heard screaming out to a man who is also being restrained by other officers.

She yells out 'baby' and 'please' multiple times during the tense incident.
At one point, one of the officers places a knee on her back as she lays down flat on the concrete.
A man can be seen also pinned to the ground before he struggles to his feet and then falls over again, as police try to contain him.
Stunned onlookers gathered on the footpath at the entrance to the service station while the sirens of several police cars wailed in the background.
The man and woman were then taken to Kogarah Police Station.
