Rocky Flintoff, the 16-year-old son of 2005 Ashes star Andrew Flintoff, has received his maiden England call-up.
Flintoff junior, currently sitting his GCSEs, was on Tuesday named in the 16-strong England Under-19 squad to face Sri Lanka in three one-day internationals.
In April, he struck his first men's hundred for Lancashire, playing for the second XI against Warwickshire just a fortnight after his 16th birthday.
His elder brother Corey, two years his senior, has lined up alongside him for Lancashire’s second string while recovering from a stress fracture of the back, but has been overtaken by his talented sibling.
Former England captain and TV personality Flintoff is currently part of the backroom staff at the Twenty20 World Cup.
