Romelu Lukaku revelaed that a shock transfer could be on the cards much sooner than people think.
The 30-year-old has just spent a second consecutive season away from Stamford Bridge on loan, with Mauricio Pochettino not finding a place in his squad for the forward.
The Belgian, who still has two years left to run on his £325,000 per week at Chelsea, spent the campaign with Roma and scored 21 goals in 47 appearances.
He signed a five-year deal with the Blues when returning to the club in a £97.5million move from Inter Milan back in 2021 but fell out of favour under Thomas Tuchel.
His future is uncertain and he has revealed his time with Europe's elite may soon be coming to an end.

The interviewer asked back: 'Much sooner?'
He responded: 'Yes. I left Belgium at 18 years old.'
The centre-forward was asked again: 'Do you miss it? Do you miss Belgium?'
Lukaku replied: 'My mother, my children...'
