Rousey made the announcement during a panel discussion at the Comic Con in San Diego

'It's like Knocked Up meets John Wick, and also a romantic comedy,' Rousey said of the project in a promo clip, perhaps hinting her pregnancy.

'The main character is a super nerd, assassin for hire, who's also a hopeless romantic,' she described. 'Unfortunately, all people that she sees, she's about to kill. So just having a hard time connecting with anyone.'

After racking up armbars on her way to MMA stardom, the UFC's first women's champion stacked six title defenses in her incredible title run. On top of her 6-0 pro record before entering the promotion, Rousey amassed an impressive 12-fight finishing streak in the cage.

She suffered her first loss to Holly Holm via knockout and attempted to comeback before getting stopped by Amanda Nunes and retiring from MMA.
