WATCH: Vitek keeps United level
What a match Radek Vitek is having between the sticks.
if it wasn't for the Czechia keeper, Manchester United could be three goals down.
This double save is probably the highlight of the first half. The second one in particular was a top-class save.
Is a star being uncovered in Norway?
HALF-TIME: Rosenborg 0-0 Man United
There goes the whistle for the break.
Rosenborg have been by far the better side, which I guess was to be expected.
Radek Vitek is the only reason Manchester United still have a foothold in this match, he made some impressive stops.
Erik ten Hag won't be too disheartened from that half, though.
BIG SAVE! Rosenborg 0-0 Man United
Radek Vitek is have a cracking match.
he yet again comes up trumps to deny Marius Broholm from close range.
How Rosenberg aren't three or four goals up, I will never know.
OFF THE BAR! Rosenborg 0-0 Man United
How are Rosenborg not in front?
They have three cracks at goal and young just expect the net to ripple, but Man United stay strong somehow.
Marius Broholm hits the bar, then Sverre Nypan breaks through and forces a strong save from Radek Vitek.
Ole Saeter then can't divert the ball home as it pops into the air.
CHANCE! Rosenborg 0-0 Man United
Man United finally fashion a chance!
Mason Mount slides the ball into Ethan Wheatley who takes no time at all to let fly of an effort inside the area.
It's not a bad strike, but it's easy for Sander Tangvik to beat away.
Wheatley probably should have passed the ball over to Ethan Williams, who was in a very good position on the right-hand side.
The best strikers don't pass, though!
DOUBLE SAVE! Rosenborg 0-0 Man United
Radek Vitek to the rescue for Manchester United!
He produces a marvellous double save to keep the united level. First, he leaps to his right to deny Marius Broholm who is in loads of space.
Then after some pinball he somehow prevents Will Fish from putting the ball in the back of his own net.
Brilliant reflexes!
CHANCE! Rosenborg 0-0 Man United
That's the best move of the match by some distance.
Rosenborg counter Manchester United with pace, and the Red Devils struggle to get back.
The ball ends up in the path of Jesper Reitan-Sunde and he rushes his strike under pressure from Jonny Evans, and it dribbles harmlessly wide.
A waste of a chance.
HIT THE POST! Rosenborg 0-0 Man United
What did I say? Things just got that little bit spicier.
Rosenborg suddenly fly forward and Marius Broholm bends a lovely effort onto the foot of the post.
I though it was in, but United survive... just.
YELLOW CARD: Rosenborg 0-0 Man United (Nemcik)
Oh, that is a terrible challenge from Tomas Nemcik on Casemiro!
The Slovakian defender goes in high on the Brazilian in what can only be considered as a leg-breaker.
If this wasn't a pre-season game, that's a red card, no questions asked. He is a lucky man.
Thankfully, Casemiro's leg is not broken, he is OK.
DISALLOWED GOAL! - Rosenborg
Rosenborg fans start to celebrate, but it doesn't take long for them to be silenced.
Top scorer Ola Saeter slides the ball into the net but the flag is up for offside.
I mean, it was very tight. United get away with one.
'A huge pre-season for Mount'
Nathan Salt, Mail Sport:

Ten Hag: 'Exciting coming into a new season'
Erik ten Hag, Manchester United boss, on MUTV:
Manchester United Team News
Erik ten Hag has named his first 11 of pre-season.
It's a fairly experienced one, with Marcus Rashford, Mason Mount, Casemiro, Jonny Evans and Aaron Wan-Bissaka all starting.
Plenty of youth too, though, with Ethan Wheatley, Hannibal Mejbri, and Radek Vitek all getting the nod.
A decent team, some would say.
Kick-starting things in Norway
A nice little trip to Norway is a nice way to get things started, isn't it?
Manchester United have arrived in Trondheim Norway to take on Rosenborg to get their pre-season rolling.
Why did they choose Rosenborg?
Well, the Norwegian league is still ongoing, and Rosenborg currently sit seventh in the table.
Seeing United come up against a side full of beans, while they have only just returned, could be interesting.
A good way to get the fitness in.
The Ten Hag era continues...
One day after two of Manchester United's players' seasons ended, the next one starts for several others.
Only yesterday, Kobbie Mainoo and Luke Shaw started for England in the Euro 2024 final against Spain.
Less than 24 hours later, their club teammates are beginning their pre-season as United take on Rosenborg in Norway.
After a summer reshuffle in the backroom staff and beyond, Erik ten Hag and his side are ready to get his reign back on track this campaign.
It feels like just yesterday they won the FA Cup, but here we are.
