Roy Keane and England legend Jill Scott traded amusing blows of friendly banter about makeup while filming the latest episode of The Overlap's Stick to Football podcast along with Gary Neville and Ian Wright.
Footage of the exchange was shared as part of a 'behind the scenes' segment and it began with Scott joining her colleagues at a table for breakfast in Germany.
Wright greeted Scott by asking: 'What's happening, princess?' But Keane's welcome was slightly different. Taking issue with the former Lioness for her decision to wear an England shirt, Keane moaned: 'What are you wearing a top for?'
Neville then attempted to wind-up Irishman Keane by joking that Scott was wearing the jersey because England were already 'through to the quarters' of Euro 2024 after being drawn to face Slovakia in the round of 16.
After Wright referenced England's dismal performance in the group phase by commenting that Gareth Southgate's side had 'puked over the line', Scott then took the first verbal swing at Keane.

Keane, 52, mocked Scott for her choice of attire before they traded insults about makeup
Scott asked the former Manchester United captain: 'Did you miss your makeup appointment?'
After taking a bite of a piece of toast, Keane paused for a moment to digest Scott's dig before hitting back with a brutal jibe of his own.
He said: 'You've been in there for two hours... and I'll tell you, it's made no difference.'
Keane's straight-faced reply sent Neville and Wright into fits of laughter, while Scott looked shocked but continued to smile.
A grinning Keane quickly apologised by saying: 'Sorry Jill, I'm only joking.'
Scott then said that she could take Keane's words 'as a compliment' about her having a 'natural' look.
'Exactly, exactly,' Keane sheepishly agreed, before Neville said: 'Naturally beautiful, you didn't need it in the first place, Jill.'
Scott responded: 'I definitely did', before swiftly changing the topic of conversation.
There was plenty of laugher on set in Germany during the latest episode of The Overlap
Former midfielder Scott made 161 appearances for the Lionesses between 2006 and 2022, winning five trophies - including UEFA Women's Euro 2022
Fellow ex-midfielder Keane represented the Republic of Ireland 67 times at senior international level between 1991 and 2005
Later in the podcast, the four former players discussed who they would like to see in Southgate's starting XI against Slovakia on Sunday.
After much deliberation, Neville decided that he would make three changes to the team that began Tuesday's 0-0 draw with Slovenia by replacing Kieran Trippier, Conor Gallagher and Bukayo Saka with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kobbie Mainoo and Cole Palmer.
