Ryan Garcia has reportedly been arrested in Los Angeles for felony vandalism at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Beverly Hills.

According to TMZ, the boxer was arrested and taken into custody on Saturday afternoon after apparently damaging properly at the hotel, including the room he was staying in.

TMZ claims that Garcia was 'seemingly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs' but cooperated with authorities during his arrest.

The 25-year-old beat Devin Haney earlier this year but his erratic conduct in the buildup led many  to question if he was mentally stable enough to fight. He failed a doping test after his surprise victory.

TMZ reported earlier this week that Garcia was checked out by police at same hotel after a call from a family member that was concerned for his wellbeing. Offers apparently determined that he was fine and it was the end of the matter.

It's the latest dramatic incident for Garcia, 25, following erratic behavior throughout the year

But his arrest on Saturday in California is the latest concerning instalment for Garcia.

In December 2023, he divorced his wife Andrea Celina immediately after the birth of their second child.

Then, heading into his much-anticipated clash with Haney in April, he then sparked major fears over the state of his mental health with a series of disturbing and bizarre online tirades, including one which alleged his throat had been slit.

Garcia also claimed to have been raped at an early age by a family member, while alleging that he was tied up in the woods by 'the elites' and forced to watch child rape.

Amid concerns over his state of mind, he came in almost four pounds overweight for his grudge match against WBC super-lightweight champion Haney, meaning he did not collect that title despite his victory on the night.

And following his points triumph in Brooklyn, it later emerged that Garcia had tested positive for banned substance Ostarine the day before and the day of the fight, before his B-sample tests provided the same result.

However, his team claim the B-sample results prove their man is innocent, insisting he is simply the victim of supplement contamination.

Garcia beat Devin Haney earlier this year after many questioned if he was fit enough to fight

Haney has called for the result to be reversed to a disqualification win, while his father has said Garcia should be banned from boxing for life.

On Wednesday, Garcia took to social media to reveal his mother, Lisa, is currently battling breast cancer.

'My mom has gave me the Ok to post,' he wrote. 'Please pray for my mother.

'Cancer STUPID I don’t care she will win - Breast cancer is stupid, JESUS IS ABOVE ALL'.
