Ryan Garcia has offered to replace Mike Tyson for his upcoming fight against Jake Paul after the heavyweight legend suffered a health scare during a flight.

The 57-year-old became nauseous and dizzy, forcing airline staff to ask passengers if there was a doctor on board. Paramedics eventually boarded the plane to treat Tyson after it touched down in Los Angeles.

It came less than two before the boxing legend is due to fight YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul in Texas.

They are slated to meet in a controversial fight, broadcast on Netflix, on July 20 at the home of the Dallas Cowboys

Tyson's scare prompted concerns about whether the bout would still go ahead and now Garcia has offered to step in - despite his ongoing PED scandal.

Ryan Garcia offered to step in if the heavyweight icon is unable to fight Jake Paul next month

'If you down to fight, if Mike can’t do it, let me know I will fill in,' Garcia told Paul in a private message which he shared on social media on Monday.

Paul insisted 'nothing' had changed regarding his fight with Tyson. 'You love to make s*** up before knowing the facts for clicks / likes,' he said on Monday.

Tyson's representatives insisted the former heavyweight champion is 'doing great' after 'an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing.'

Garcia has been embroiled in scandal over recent weeks, after he upset Devin Haney only to test positive for a banned substance.

Haney 's father and trainer, Bill Haney, has called on the troubled fighter to be given a lifetime ban from boxing after he tested positive for ostarine.

The tests were administered the day before and the day of the fight in Brooklyn. Garcia denies any wrongdoing.
