Following her sublime performance at The Roast of Tom Brady, Nikki Glaser stole the show once again at the 2024 ESPY Awards.

The comedian was tasked with presenting the award for Best Male Athlete - and took aim at some of the nominees.

But among her vicious barbs, she saved the best for American golfer and current World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.

'The nominees include peak athletes who push their bodies to the limit, and also a golfer,' Glaser joked.

'I'm sorry, Scottie. I do know that golfing is hard. I mean there's putting, chipping and driving... over a cop's leg.'

That, of course, is referencing Scheffler's arrest at the PGA Championship where he was charged - and has since been cleared of - second-degree assault of a police officer and three other misdemeanor crimes.

Glaser's line generated laughs throughout audience watching the show from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

But she didn't stop there - turning her jokes to the Edmonton Oilers and captain Connor McDavid after their loss in the Stanley Cup Final to the Florida Panthers.

'Boy Connor, that must have hurt to lose the game of ice hockey to a place that doesn't even have ice,' she said.

'For now the only Stanley Cup Connor [McDavid] will get to hold will be the one his wife asks him to grab out of the cabinet.'

Glaser introduced herself saying that people would likely recognize her from the 'roast of Gisele's husband' - referring to her excellent work on the Brady roast.

She also made sure to joke about nominee - and eventual award winner - Patrick Mahomes, saying that she's been a football fan since she 'first watched Taylor Swift watch a football game'.

'It really changed my life because now I know who Patrick Mahomes is,' Glaser said. 'Before, I only knew him as that guy in the State Farm ads, and based on his acting, I just assumed he was the CEO's son.'
