Shocking dash cam footage has captured the moment a sleeping driver crossed multiple lanes of traffic before hitting a house and multiple parked cars.
Footage captured on Thursday shows the red Cadillac drifting across a main road in Ogden, Utah.
After initially crossing one lane, the Cadillac continues on its path and manages to avoid colliding with oncoming traffic who swerve to avoid the rogue vehicle.
As it crosses the road, the car then bounds over a sidewalk and collides with multiple parked cars before plowing into a home.
Police later confirmed that the driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old John Green had fallen asleep at the wheel.

A social media post from a witness said the car plowed through three front yards, damaging three houses in the process
'Two traffic investigators responded to the scene and determined that the driver had fallen asleep behind the wheel, which caused him to cross lanes and strike the parked cars,' wrote Ogden police Lt. Will Farr in a statement posted on Facebook.
'This incident serves as a critical reminder of the dangers associated with drowsy driving.
'Drowsy driving is a serious and often underestimated hazard. It can slow reaction times, impair decision-making, and significantly increase the risk of accidents.'
One man was working on his stationary car, parked in his driveway, when the car crashed into him.
Dezmond Guillen, the brother of the injured man, Edgar Guillen, said the 30-year-old was 'crushed' when he was hit.
'He has nine ribs broken. His two lungs from both sides have holes in them that are collapsed,' Guillen told KSL.
Traffic investigators determined that alcohol and drugs were not factors that caused Green to doze off, who escaped from the collision unscathed.
Even so, he still received a citation for 'failure to keep safe and improper look out,' but released him from custody shortly after.
The car also collided with two other vehicles before flipping over and stopping

Dezmond Guillen and his family believe that Green actually was under the influence , citing bloodshot eyes and stumbling out of the car.
'He got out of the car. He ran from the scene. He came back out there. He saw the ambulance. He came back in a different shirt,' Dezmond Guillen said.
The family said they believe Green deserves a harsher punishment than just a citation.
'I feel like there's a lot more that needs that had to be done,' Dezmond Guillen said. 'Just seeing (my brother) in pain and not being able to move and just being so confusing him, not knowing where he's at and he just makes me really upset that it ended up having to go this route.'
The Guillen family has set up a GoFundMe for Edgar Guillen.
