Shocking footage has captured the moment a dangerous driver led police on a 100mph car chase on the wrong side of a carriageway in Cornwall.
Louis Roser hit dangerous speeds and drove into oncoming traffic on the A390 through Hewas Water in an uninsured Audi A3 after failing to stop for officers on October 11.
Devon and Cornwall Police officers were forced to cut him up and bump his car at a roundabout near St Austell to end the three-minute chase, which did not lead to any crashes or injuries.
Upon being stopped and when interviewed after the incident, Roser, 31, described his driving as 'appalling' and admitted that there was 'no excuse' for it. He also apologised to the officers.
Roser admitted dangerous driving and was jailed for 13 months and handed a three-year driving ban in Truro Crown Court earlier this month.

He also pleaded guilty to failing to provide a breath sample and using a vehicle without insurance.
Police say they released the footage of the chase to show other motorists how easily the incident could have had more serious consequences for Roser and other drivers on the road.
Inspector Greg Hodgkiss, of the Devon and Cornwall's Roads Policing team, said: 'The manner of driving was incredibly dangerous and Roser put himself, members of the public and the officers at serious risk of harm.
'With safety being the priority, officers made tactical contact with the car and forced it to stop.
'We wanted to share this video with the public to highlight the important message that this type of driving will not tolerated and could have resulted in someone being seriously, or even fatally, injured.

'We will take robust action and hold people to account for their actions.'
Alison Hernandez, Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, added they chase could have caused the death of a bystander.
'The custodial sentence handed down to this offender is only right and I am pleased he will not be able to use our roads for at least the next three years.' she said.
