Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens is taking a break from training camp so he can fly to paris to support his wife, Simone Biles in the women's team final at the 2024 Olympics.
The American football player has been admiring the superstar gymnast from afar whilst he has been hard at work with his NFL team in Lake Forest for their training camp ahead of the upcoming season.
Taking to social media to voice and show is support for his wife via Instagram as she made her valiant return to the Games.
Owens however wasn't content with watching his wife compete at the highest level on TV and has managed to get time off to travel to Paris to support her in person.
Owens took to his Instagram early this morning to share that he had boarded a plane and was enroute to see the seven-time Olympic medallist.

Many believed the 29-year-old would not go to Paris to cheer on Biles as he is currently at a training camp for the Chicago Bears ahead of the upcoming NFL season

The 29-year-old posted a photo of him on a plane, holding the peace sign with the caption 'Coming for you baby' accompanied by a blue heart and plane emoji'.
Owens will touchdown in Paris just in time to watch his wife, the world's most decorated gymnast compete in the women's team event.
Which is scheduled to begin at 5:15pm UK time.
Team USA are in with an amazing chance to finish on the podium and are strong contenders to claim the Olympic gold after their impressive showing in the qualification which saw them top the event.

Biles will also compete in the all-around final on Thursday against her teammate and defending Olympic champion Suni Lee
Biles dazzled on her return to the OIympics, as she topped the all-around standings, registering an impressive overall score of 59.566 in the women's qualification round.
Biles will now compete alongside her Team USA teammates Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera today in the women's team event before she goes head-to-head with USA teammate and defending Olympic champion Suni Lee in the all-around final.
Which will be the first ever to feature two former champions. Biles will also compete for medals in the floor, vault and beam finals after successfully qualifying.
The all-around women's gymnastics final will take place on Thursday.
