This is the moment skydivers brought out pyrotechnics for an epic nighttime jump over Arizona

The group, known as Max Pyro 2.0, set two new records- the Vertical Night Record and a Sequential Vertical Night Record - on March 22 and 23 over Eloy, about an hour outside of Phoenix.

As the 42 daredevils jumped from a plane, the dazzling sparklers, attached to their ankles, lit up the dark night sky.

'The dedication and skill of every participant, combined with the electrifying spectacle of synchronized pyrotechnics, made this achievement truly unforgettable,' event organizer Sara Curtis told AZ Family

Skydivers that participated in the spectacle represented ten different countries, including Australia, Argentina, France, Brazil, the US and more.

A group called Max Pyro 2.0 illuminated the night sky in Eloy, Arizona on March 22 and 23 and set two new records

Video of the eye-catching event starts with the group of skydivers huddled inside of a plane in the sky just before they fell to the earth

Floating in the air, the divers resembled human sparklers as fire sparks trickle down from above

The group set a new record for Vertical Night jump using 42 skydivers. The old record was set in 2021 with 14 jumpers in Germany, according to the Arizona Republic.

The next night, the jump of 21 skydivers over Arizona set a record for Sequential Vertical Two-point Night record.

Video of the eye-catching event starts with the group of skydivers huddled inside a plane in the sky.

One person screams and initiates the beginning of the daring jump just before they head over to the edge of the plane and fly into the air.

As they start falling, some of the members jump far out while others simply float in the atmosphere as the bright lights on their uniforms illuminate the night sky.

Floating in the air, the divers resemble human sparklers as fire sparks trickle down from above.

They then all convene and create a giant circle as they hold hands and scream with adrenaline.

The massive group stay in the air for a while and look around at each other just before the camera points to the dark sky with wind whistling in the background.

The large group of skydivers are seen rounded in a circle as they hold each other's and experience the thrilling moment together

As they descend closer to the earth, lights from the surface start to appear and the group safely lands.

Members of Max Pyro 2.0 shout and jump around as they take in their amazing accomplishments. One person screams: 'Holy f***!' as their parachute folds to the ground.

She then says: 'This is so awesome!' before laughing uncontrollably as others land around her.

Jeff Provenzano, one of skydivers, took to Instagram to share the momentous occasion.

'Beyond stoked to be part of this event and at the same time I’m so curious what it would be like to be driving down the highway and suddenly seeing this in the sky,' Provenzano said.

He posted video shots of him and the group dangling upside down as they held hands and floated in the air together with fire flaming from their feet.

Another diver, Domitille Kiger, posted video of the moment and said: 'I have rarely been as stoked on a skydive than on those 4 night jumps with pyro. What a crew, what a moment.'

The group plans to attempt another record in the next three years.
