Yet another construction company has collapsed, leaving dozens of homeowners with unfinished properties and uncertain futures.

Perth-based builder Start Right Homes appointed Anthony Warner from CRS Insolvency Services as the business liquidator on Sunday.

The Osborne Park company collapsed with up to 24 unfinished projects, according to Western Australia's Building and Energy department.

The builder had described itself as 'Perth's specialists in architectural stylings' and 'your one stop shop for innovation, custom designs and excellence'.

Start Right Homes mostly constructed modern family homes and also offered custom builds, according to its LinkedIn page.

The company's website is no longer active.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted CRS Insolvency Services and Start Right Homes.

More than 2,000 construction firms across Australia collapsed in the 2022-23 financial year amid labour shortages and consequent high prices for sub-contractors, plus soaring costs of materials in a high inflation economy.

The industry carnage had continued unabated into this financial year.

In March, a building company part of a major Australian construction giant Cavalier Homes collapsed with at least $680,000 in debt.

The Victorian-based builder Station 293 Pty Ltd traded under construction firm Cavalier Homes Geelong and Nathan Downing Builders.

A Cavalier Homes spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia the business had been struggling for some time due to mounting costs.

'Due to recent widespread building industry cost escalations Nathan's business has been unfortunately forced to go into voluntary liquidation,' the spokesperson said.

'Despite our efforts trying to assist with Nathans two customers and effected trade partners we deeply empathise with all effected parties.'

Liquidator Clifford Sanderson has since been contacted by more than 40 creditors.

The collapse of Station 293 Pty Ltd came after construction firm Main Facilities Pty Ltd, entered administration the week earlier.

Workers at the company were informed over Zoom they had all been sacked, after the business collapsed owing $7million to creditors.

A massive 2,349 construction companies went under in Australia over the past year, as the industry continues to struggle through a period of high inflation.
