Steve Bannon is 'proud to fight tyranny' and to go to prison as the Trump ally reports for four-month sentence after defying a January 6 congressional subpoena

Steve Bannon said he is 'proud to go to prison' outside the Connecticut low security federal prison where he will be held for his four-month sentence.

The former Trump adviser said to supporters: I am proud to go to prison – if this is what it takes to stand up to tyranny.'

'If this is what it takes to stand up to the Garland corrupt, criminal DOJ. If this is what it takes to stand up to Nancy Pelosi. If this is what it takes to stand up to Joe Biden, I'm proud to do it.'

Bannon will serve a relatively short sentence after a tough fight to avoid prison for defying a congressional subpoena to appear for the House Select Committee investigating the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot.
